I feel like I am just wandering up a long empty road......trying to find my way in the mist.
No light at the end of the road.
Just sorrow and sadness.
I dont like it here in this place, yet it has a grip on me.
I wish for it to let go.
It is heavy burden.
To carry such a feeling of hopelessness.
I am searching for that hand to reach in and lift me out.
(although it is a little hard to stick my hand out
from under the blanket cocoon of tears)

The darkness is also God's. Sorrow and longing is part of this life, more so for people who know they come from and will go to a better one. He is the darkness that wraps around you and holds you until a new day dawns for you. It is not evil. It is protection, alignment, and hope. Embrace it, wallow in it, ask for relief from it, and cry - this is what is required in the dark times. New light is coming, a new path, new ways - try as hard as you like His way is the way we all go. Relax, rest, let the divine be in charge. Love is all there is. peace
Your so sweet to say what you have.
THANK YOU so much.
And your right......he is in charge, I have to constantly remind my self of that and STOP trying to fix it myself.
Thanks for your insights. I so appreciate it.

Saw your comment at the Cafe. Just wanted you to know that I am saying a prayer for you. I pray that you will know how much God cares for you. He knows the numbers of hairs on your head and keeps your tears in a bottle. You are precious to Him.
Thank you Melanie.
You know I never think about how my tears feel. They just feel sad. I cant find anyting in there but sad when I cry them.
But knowing he counts them all makes it seem different. It doesnt stop them.
thank you for coming over to say this. I appreciate it.
This is really poignant for me because a few years ago, I went through a deep depression, and I experienced this same feeling that you've expressed day-in and day-out for months. You can be a lifelong follower of Christ and still go through these dark times. Hang in there--feelings are real but not always accurate.
Thanks Second cup of coffee.........you know till you said this, I had not truly realized I have had these 'sad' days for months. Your right. They are there.
I will say they are situational. I am going through a lot of changes right now and that coupled with a few heart aches, has both had me in sad places in the past few months.
I need to fix that!
